The Georgia Homebuyer Tax Credit Has Arrived!
Better late than never, and every penny counts. I was wondering how the $8000.00 federal tax credit would affect the market, and that is all buyers all talking about now (at every price range too!). This state icing on the cake definitely doesn’t hurt. See the link to the Georgia Association of Realtors FAQ’s about this new credit that is sadly not retroactive to the 1st of the year. Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine was first introduced to me by my late grandfather-in-law, I think as a way to make sure his granddaughter and her husband entered adulthood with good financial advice on a regular basis. For years he would renew our subscription for us. I miss him, and he was a wise man. I always thought Kiplinger’s was a good magazine. Now I am certain. See link. You can also see a video here.
